What They're Looking For.

Must Have

High school or equivalent diploma, Current valid BLS certification, Current valid EMT or Paramedic Certification, Current Active Athletic Trainer Certification

Nice to Have

Certified to teach first aid, CPR, and AED training, Proficient in Microsoft Office, Experience with industrial wellness program, Experience managing musculoskeletal disorders, Experience coaching on body mechanics, Demonstrated work experience with OSHA regulations, Demonstrated work experience with Workers Compensation, Proficient in digital recordkeeping, Six months job experience in the Military as a Combat Medic, Six months job experience in the Military as a Field Medic, Six months job experience in the Military as a Healthcare Specialist, Six months job experience in the Navy as a Hospital Corpsman, Six months job experience in the Air Force as a Aerospace Medical Service Technician

What You'll Do.

Provide first aid support

Make referrals to outside medical providers

Minimize AA risk of injury

Educate on injury prevention

Engage proactively on injury prevention

Maintain records of care provided

Coordinate workers’ compensation programs

Maintain workers’ compensation programs

Coordinate return to work programs

Maintain return to work programs

Provide daily activity logs

Provide end of shift reports

Coach on observed at-risk work habits

Maintain a clean working environment

Maintain appropriate medical supply inventory

Participate in training

Facilitate first aid classes

Facilitate CPR classes

Facilitate AED classes

Maintain first aid credentials

Maintain CPR credentials

Maintain AED credentials

Assist with saliva drug testing protocols

Maintain effective care delivery in emergencies

Assist emergency response at the site

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

Work with WHS Site Manager; Work with WHS Specialist; Work with Injury Prevention Specialist; Attend safety committee meetings; Greet new hires; Participate in case management review meetings; Function as part of the larger team onsite; Support safety operations
