What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High school or equivalent diploma, Valid first aid with CPR/AED level A or C, Valid Provincial Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) Certification, Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) Certification, Six months job experience as Military Medical Technician
Nice to Have
Certified to teach first aid, CPR, and AED, Proficient in Microsoft Office, Experience with industrial wellness program, Experience managing musculoskeletal disorders, Experience with ergonomics, Experience coaching on body mechanics, Work experience with OSHA regulations, Work experience with Workers Compensation, Proficient in digital recordkeeping
What You'll Do.
Refer care to outside medical providers
Advocate health and wellness principles
Maintain records of care
Coordinate workers’ compensation programs
Coordinate return to work programs
Provide daily activity logs
Provide end of shift reports
Coach on observed at-risk work habits
Maintain a clean working environment
Maintain medical supply inventory
Participate in training
Facilitate first aid classes
Facilitate CPR classes
Facilitate AED classes
Maintain first aid credentials
Maintain CPR credentials
Maintain AED credentials
Assist with drug testing protocols
Maintain effective care delivery
Assist emergency response
