What They're Looking For.

Must Have

High school or equivalent diploma, CPR course, Valid first aid, CPR, and AED course card, Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, an academic program that is physically located in Canada in computer science, machine learning, engineering, or related fields, Valid Provincial Primary Care Paramedic Certification, Current valid Emergency Medical Responder Certification, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) from the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM), Successfully completed first aid training or examination developed or approved by WorkSafe BC

Nice to Have

Experience with workers' compensation, Experience and certification in teaching first-aid, CPR and AED, Job experience as a Military Medic, Certified to teach first aid, CPR, and AED training from the Canadian Red Cross, Proficient in Microsoft Office, Experience with an industrial wellness program, Experience managing musculoskeletal disorders, Experience managing ergonomics, Experience coaching on body mechanics, Demonstrated work experience with OSHA regulations, Demonstrated work experience with Workers Compensation, Proficient in digital recordkeeping

What You'll Do.

Provide first aid support

Make referrals to outside medical providers

Minimize AA risk of injury

Maintain all records of care provided

Coordinate workers' compensation programs

Coordinate return to work programs

Provide daily activity logs

Provide end of shift reports

Engage with AAs and leadership

Provide coaching regarding observed at-risk work habits

Maintain a clean working environment

Ensure appropriate medical supply inventory is maintained

Participate in training and certification

Facilitate first aid classes

Facilitate CPR classes

Facilitate AED classes

Maintain all first aid credentials

Maintain CPR credentials

Maintain AED credentials

Assist with random saliva drug testing protocols

Maintain effective care delivery in emergencies

Assist emergency response at the site
