Find your next career opportunity and make a difference doing what you love at Children’s. _**Job Description**_ The Onboarding Specialist is an experienced registered nurse, who works with newly hired nurses through their clinical orientation to facilitate and evaluate learning. They will partner to foster safe, competent practice as well as strengthen confidence in the clinical arena while building and facilitating a trusting relationship with teammates, physicians, patients, and families. This role is part-time working 20 hours per week. Will do 2 days per week, 3 days the next and so on. This will be days but there may be some work after 8PM. **Experience** * Minimum 2 years of RN experience * Minimum 1 year pediatric/specialty experience * Minimum 1 year training or orienting clinical staff **Preferred Qualifications** * Bachelor of Science in Nursing * Previous experience in Peritoneal dialysis preferred * Experience in orienting different roles to clinical care (student, new graduate, experienced RN) **Education** * Graduate from accredited school of nursing **Certification Summary** * Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the single State of Georgia or Multi-State through the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact * Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association within 30 days of employment or upon start
