Must Have
One (1) year of medication administration experience is required, Valid California LVN or LPT license, Current CPR certification, First Aid certification from persons qualified by agencies including but not limited to the American Red Cross
Nice to Have
Associate degree, preferred, One (1) year of service experience treating the mentally ill in an inpatient setting, preferred
What You'll Do.
provides direct client care including the administration of medications and supervising nursing activities performed by professional and para-professional nursing personnel on the unit
and documenting the administration of medication for clients according to physicians’ orders
Confirming delivery of all ordered medication from the pharmacy on shift worked
Communicating pertinent information verbally and in writing to all team members
Responsible for writing a weekly summary on the client as assigned
Monitoring and maintaining appropriate nursing documentation in the medical record for the shift worked
