These four entities are: * Forestry & Utility Division * Environmental Division * Technology & Innovation Division * Sustainability Division **JOB SUMMARY:** The Biologist III is responsible for conducting biological research and fieldwork, performing impact analyses, supporting permit assessments, and preparing technical reports to support biological and regulatory requirements. **ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:** Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions: * Conduct special‑status plant and wildlife surveys and inventories * Perform nesting bird surveys, vernal pool surveys, and habitat assessments, including plant community identification * Complete pre‑construction surveys to identify special‑status habitats and species * Provide biological monitoring during construction activities to ensure required resource protection measures are implemented * Work on portions of larger projects or manage multiple moderately sized projects, providing subject‑matter expertise in biology and ecology, including plant communities * Independently evaluate, select, apply, and adapt standard methodologies, techniques
