Full Job Description
**Title:** Offshore Lead Structural Engineer - Jacket & Topsides KBR’s Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) group is looking for Offshore Lead Structural Engineer to support the design and delivery of critical offshore oil & gas and renewable energy projects worldwide. The role focuses on advanced Detail engineering projects for FPSO structures, jackets, topsides, fixed platforms, and other offshore facilities. Provide overall technical and execution leadership for offshore structural engineering covering Topside and Jacket / Substructure, driving safe, high‑quality, and on‑schedule delivery across all project phases. **Responsibilities:** * Lead engineering for Topside structures, Jackets, piles, decks, modules * Act as technical authority for concept, FEED, detailed design, and IFC * Manage and mentor a large multidisciplinary team (~50 nos.) * Review and approve design philosophies, calculations, and drawings * Ensure compliance with API, ISO, AISC, DNV, ABS and client standards * Coordinate with other disciplines and interface with clients/class societies * Support fabrication, load‑out, transport, and offshore installation * Monitor engineering progress, risks, and technical quality **Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in civil / structural engineering or equivalent * 10 years of related experience in offshore structural engineering, with average experience ranging of 20+ years * Chartership / PE preferred * Proven experience in EPC offshore projects * Offshore structural design & analysis * Software: SACS, STAAD.Pro, SESAM, ANSYS * Strong knowledge of constructability and fabrication practices **Preferred Qualifications:** * Masters in Structural Engineering * Strong leadership and decision‑making * Client/stakeholder management * Quality, safety, and schedule driven **Belong.
