The role requires understanding of concepts, methods, and procedures. **Fuel your passion** As an Offshore Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for: * Working independently and safely with minimum supervision in accordance with Baker Hughes established safety procedures and practices. * Maintaining good housekeeping at the work site. * Capable of generating relevant laboratory reports. * Be responsible for the proper use and care of tools and equipment and shall return all unused materials to stock. * Coordinate core sample analyses with external laboratories when necessary. * Coordinate the collection/sampling of field oil, gas and water samples, and having them packed properly for shipping to an external laboratory. * Be capable of meeting rigorous requirements for calibration, verification, and repeatability tests. * Identify problems and issues with sampling equipment and test results. * Working together with people from the business unit. Specifying activities, planning activities, and giving explanations on technical issues. * Communicating with direct team and supervisor. * Presenting to internal teams on metrics, project status and research. **To be successful in this role you
