Full Job Description
Join the Tile Town Team For over 55 years, Tile Town has been helping homeowners, designers, and contractors create beautiful spaces. We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our Head Office team and support our Controller with a variety of accounting and administrative functions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in keeping things accurate and organized. * Assist with Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processing * Perform data entry and maintain accurate records * Support daily accounting and bookkeeping functions using QuickBooks Online * Reconcile invoices, statements, and supporting documentation * Assist with filing, record management, and administrative projects * Prepare reports and spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel * Create and edit documents using Microsoft Word * Provide general administrative support to the Controller and Head Office team * Help ensure financial information is entered accurately and on time ## Qualifications * Previous office administration or accounting experience * Experience working with QuickBooks Online * Strong data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word * Excellent organizational and time management skills * Strong attention to detail * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information * Self-motivated with the ability to work independently * Positive attitude and willingness to support the team wherever needed Preferred Qualifications * Accounting, bookkeeping, or business administration education is considered an asset * Experience with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes * Experience working in a multi-location retail or wholesale environment is an asset ## Additional Information Compensation for this position will range depending upon skills, abilities and relevant knowledge or experi
