Providing administrative and clerical support to the Plant Manager and plant, Welcoming visitors and potential employees, answering incoming calls, dealing with inquiries or transferring to appropriate party, Maintaining security by following logbook
issuing visitor badges, Processing plant responses and resolving inquiries, Tracking time and alerting leadership on matters of concern, Resolving payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information, Receiving and inputting daily incoming shipments into company software system, Creating bill of lading, requesting Certifications and other documents needed for outbound shipments, Inputting daily production into company data base and updating production logs, Collecting, filing, and maintaining all inbound and outbound shipment and production files, Creating shipments and scheduling pick-up for Fed-Ex packages, Maintaining safeguards and confidentiality with payroll, discipline, and employee files, Taking minutes, notes, etc. for respective group meetings, Coordinating employee recognitions (i. e. luncheons, birthdays, anniversaries)
Posting events on company website, Ensuring near miss and incident reports are completed and submitted in a timely manner, Providing administrative support for Plant Manager and all team members, Maintaining an organized, clean and safe work area, Maintaining office supply inventory, making orders as needed, Complying with all company policies and guidelines, Demonstrating the ability to work safely, Performing additional duties as assigned by the Plant Manager
