Full Job Description

At Amazon, we're looking for a Production Engineer to join our dynamic Event Productions team. You'll help create and deliver exceptional live experiences for Amazon's largest on and off-campus events, both in-person and via livestream. What you'll do: • Design, program, and operate live events ranging from corporate meetings to concerts. • Provide technical direction for audio, video, lighting, and livestreaming. • Support hybrid events through both onsite and remote operations. • Install and optimize Production equipment in various venues. • Collaborate with event organizers and AV teams to deliver excellent experiences. • Travel up to 50% to support global events. Key job responsibilities Production Cycle Responsibilities: Pre-event • Prepare and organize technical equipment needs. • Conduct equipment testing and signal flow verification. • Coordinate with organizers on technical requirements. During Event • Operate production equipment for live events. • Provide real-time technical support across audio, video, and lighting. • Adapt quickly to changing customer needs. • Ensure consistent quality throughout productions. Post-event • Manage equipment strike and storage. • Participate in event feedback and improvement discussions. What we're looking for: • Proven experience in live event production and livestreaming • Strong technical knowledge of integrated Production systems • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills • Experience creating signal flow diagrams and technical documentation • Commitment to safety and industry best practices • Flexibility to support various technical roles as needed A day in the life A Production Engineer's role is to operate production equipment during live events that are hosted by our internal Amazon customers experienced by internal or external attendees. The Production Engineer will work alongside Producers, peers and customers to deliver high quality event experience
