Serving both original equipment manufacturers and aftermarket customers, Unison designs, manufactures and supplies the most advanced components and systems in the world. Provide leadership over the strategy and daily operations of OEM Business unit at the GE Aerospace Dayton Tubes & Ducts facility. Responsible for the safety, quality, delivery and cost of the value stream. The role requires a lean/continuous improvement/problem solving mindset. Owns & influences budgets and operating plans. The role is guided by operating policy. Works with cross functional teams. The role has autonomy within the operational area for continuous improvement and sustainment. The role has a major impact on P&L for the Dayton facility. High levels of evaluative judgment and operational acumen are required to achieve outcomes. # **Job Description** ** _Roles and Responsibilities:_** * Manage overall production in order to reach defined targets in safety, quality, delivery and cost. Ensure continuous business improvement according to benchmarks and standards through FLIGHT DECK - GE Aerospace's proprietary lean operating model. Team management of salaried employees. * Leading lean transformation efforts for the business unit to drive lead time reduction, connected flow and efficiency gains. * Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Utilizes understanding of industry trends to inform decision making process. * Leads others to find creative solutions within complex manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles. Employs sophisticated operational/product management, manufacturing or engineering techniques. Interaction with adjacent functions needed
