Must Have

Master’s degree program or a qualified four year Bachelor’s degree program approved by ACOTE in collaboration with the AOTA, applicable and current state license or certification to practice or meet all qualifications to be eligible for traineeship, Current BLS certification required or obtained within ninety days of completing new employee orientation

Nice to Have

Experience working with adult and geriatric populations, Experience working in the acute care setting

What You'll Do.

Provide a full range of occupational therapy services

Conduct initial assessments

Develop individualized treatment plans

Provide age appropriate therapeutic interventions

Evaluate patient response to treatment

Document the course of patient care

Provide patient and family education

Participate in discharge planning

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

Provide a full range of occupational therapy services in a team environment; Participate in discharge planning as part of the interdisciplinary team; Participate in team business meetings; Function as a resource for and provide team members with education; Contribute to development of improved efficiency and productivity; Collaborative participation with the interdisciplinary team
