Degree in Occupational Therapy, HCPC registration, Experience working with children with disabilities, Experience with complex needs, Experience in functional assessments, Experience in environmental assessments, Excellent written communication skills, Excellent verbal communication skills, Ability to manage caseload independently, Experience working within multidisciplinary team
Nice to Have
Experience in assistive equipment, Experience in housing adaptations
What You'll Do.
Deliver specialist Occupational Therapy services
Assess individual needs
Recommend appropriate interventions
Assess children and young people
Identify functional needs
Develop intervention plans
Recommend specialist equipment
Arrange specialist equipment
Arrange minor adaptations
Demonstrate safe use of equipment
Demonstrate effective use of equipment
Assess need for major home adaptations
Guide families through adaptation process
Liaise with Grants Officers
Liaise with surveyors
Liaise with architects
Liaise with other professionals
Ensure adaptations meet assessed needs
Complete housing needs reports
Support medical priority housing applications
Maintain accurate records
Maintain risk assessments
Attend multidisciplinary meetings
Work collaboratively with partner agencies
Achieve positive outcomes
