We are so glad you are interested in joining Sutter Health! **Organization:** ABSMC-Summit Campus **Position Overview:** Join our dynamic, GROWING, acute rehabilitation team! Our 58-bed program is CARF-accredited for stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, and cancer rehabilitation. We provide individualized, high quality, patient-centered rehab care working with a multidisciplinary team that includes rehab physicians, PT/OT/ST, Recreation Therapy, Neuropsychology, Rehab Nursing, Social Workers, and RN Case Managers. We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist who is passionate about providing outstanding patient care and achieving positive outcomes for returning patients home. Our team environment supports professional growth and clinical collaboration. Join us! Summary: Responsible for assessing, planning, organizing, and participating in rehabilitative programs that help build or restore vocational, homemaking, and daily living skills, as well as general independence, to persons with disabilities or developmental delays. Gains confidence and cooperation from the patient, their family/support group, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring and care, and effective communication. Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care.
