Must Have
Registration in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO), Valid G or G2 drover’s license with access to a reliable vehicle for community travel

Experience in community practice is an asset
What You'll Do.
Provide ministry-funded
community-based occupational therapy services to adult clients in the community.
Provide ministry-funded
community-based occupational therapy services in clients’ homes and/or through virtual care
Conduct occupational therapy assessments using interviews
and informal assessment techniques
including: Home safety and home modifications
Equipment prescription
Mobility and physical functioning
Stroke rehabilitation and chronic conditions
Develop and implement evidence-based intervention plans in collaboration with clients and caregivers
and monitor occupational therapy assistants as appropriate
Educate clients and caregivers and connect them with relevant community agencies and resources
Complete funding applications when required
and professional documentation
including: Assessment findings
Progress and discharge summaries
Reports aligned with referral source requirements and COTO standards
