Valid California physician license, Board certified or eligible in Occupational Medicine, Medical Review Officer (MRO) certification, National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners (NRCME), Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, California Radiography supervisor certification, Ability to perform independently, Extensive experience working independently, Effective organizational skills, Advanced analytical skills, Expert communication skills, Meet immunization requirements, Meet tuberculosis screening requirements, U. S. DOE Q-level security clearance
Nice to Have
Obtain California physician license, Ability to be certified by ABMS, Willingness to complete MRO certification, Willingness to complete NRCME certification, Willingness to complete BLS certification, Ability to complete California Radiography supervisor certification, Extensive experience in a team environment, Expert knowledge of OSHA recording, Expert knowledge of California worker’s compensation, Expert knowledge of workplace hazards, Extensive experience with population-based health analysis
What You'll Do.
Provide physician-level medical services
Medically oversee work of health care professionals
Serve as a Medical Review Officer
Provide medical expertise in occupational medicine
Provide emergency medical care
Stabilize critically ill patients
Make transfer decisions
Provide diagnosis and treatment
Follow OSHA recording requirements
Follow California worker’s compensation requirements
Provide medical surveillance exams
Provide certification exams
Perform pre-placement medical evaluations
Perform fitness for duty evaluations
Assess need for workplace accommodations
Assess need for medical follow up
Champion health-related activities
Lead workplace health issue evaluations
Provide consultative expertise
Collaborate with ES&H professionals
Conduct field work site visits
Develop ES&H programs
Implement medical surveillance programs
Deliver educational presentations
Perform liaison activities
Develop policies for occupational medicine
Develop procedures for occupational medicine
Develop policies for medical surveillance
Develop procedures for medical surveillance
Develop policies for worker compensation
