What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Science, Finance, Statistics, or a related quantitative field, 2–4 years in a business analysis, data analysis, or analytics role, proficiency in Excel including advanced formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, and data modeling, Hands-on experience with at least one data visualization tool: Power BI, Tableau, or Amazon QuickSight, Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction and manipulation, Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis, scripting, or automation, Demonstrated ability to synthesize data from multiple sources into clear, actionable insights, communication skills with the ability to present analytical findings to non-technical audiences, Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and analytical rigor
Nice to Have
Experience in commercial real estate, corporate real estate, or workplace/facilities management, Exposure to AI/machine learning concepts and tools including predictive modeling, NLP, and clustering, Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Snowflake, or Databricks, Familiarity with space management systems such as IWMS, CAFM, or occupancy planning tools, Experience with workflow automation tools including Power Automate, Quick Flows, or similar, Understanding of headcount forecasting, seat demand modeling, or portfolio optimization concepts, Track record building capacity and configuration datasets including building size, floor plans, space types, and capabilities, Experience analyzing demand including business unit headcount projections, growth forecasts, and specific space requirements, Background working with utilization data including badge data, sensor feeds, and network logins, Experience synthesizing customer feedback including survey results, workshop outputs, and interview notes, Ability to identify opportunities to leverage automation tools to streamline repetitive analytical tasks, Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Facilities, Design & Construction, and Technology to ensure data integrity and alignment, Track record proactively identifying and communicating opportunities for space optimization, improved employee experience, and cost savings, Ability to develop standardized templates and visualization best practices for analytics functions, Experience contributing to the establishment of best practices for data analysis, modeling, and reporting, Background staying current on emerging data science and AI capabilities relevant to corporate real estate and occupancy planning
