Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, Ability to work nights and weekends, Requires operation of heavy equipment, Requires employee to stand for up to 75% of the time, Requires employee to sit for up to 25% of the time, Requires employee to climb ladders or stairs, Must be able to maintain balance on stairs/ladders, Must be able to communicate and respond, Must be able to frequently lift at least 10 pounds, Infrequent lifting of > 50 lbs, High noise environment (>85dbA), Potential exposure to hazardous chemicals, Requires work in outdoor conditions, Requires work in extreme heat, Requires work in extreme cold, Requires moving and maintaining self in different positions, Requires work in tight and confined spaces, Must wear all required PPE, Requires employee to frequently type, Requires use of computer and other office equipment, Position may require travel, Position may require overnight stays
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High school diploma or equivalent, Basic computer proficiency, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, Previous experience operating or maintaining power generation facilities, Ability to work in a team environment, Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, Ability to work nights and weekends, Valid Driver’s License, MVR within acceptable parameters
Nice to Have
Experience with computers and Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Experience with transformers and Gas Insulated Switchgear, Experience with gas turbine operations and maintenance, Understanding of protective relay equipment
What You'll Do.
Operate and maintain Power Generation Facility
Maintain electronic logbook
Troubleshoot plant process abnormalities/alarms
Handle daily routines
Perform preventative maintenance tasks
Maintain online training program requirements
Issue safety work permits
Perform lock-out/tag-out
Support ammonia liquid bulk delivery systems
Maintain storage tank production
Inspect work areas for problems
Ensure plant safety procedures are followed
Attend and participate in safety meetings
Perform troubleshooting and minor adjustments
Assist in reviewing operating procedures
Assist in updating operating procedures
Aid in development of maintenance programs
Comply with company regulations
Perform other duties as assigned
Consult manuals to troubleshoot equipment problems
Consult schematics to troubleshoot equipment problems
Consult wiring diagrams to troubleshoot equipment problems
Consult engineering personnel to troubleshoot equipment problems
Troubleshoot facility equipment
Repair facility equipment
Replace facility equipment
Clean facility equipment
Prepare and maintain reports of tests
Prepare and maintain reports of repairs
Prepare and maintain reports of maintenance
