Full Job Description
The AGUP Phase 2 CPF-2 project is a major oil and gas development within TotalEnergies’ GGIP program in Iraq’s Basra region. The project involves the development of a new Central Processing Facility (CPF-2) designed to support production of approximately 210 kbopd from the Ratawi field, along with associated gas handling and integration with multiple large-scale energy infrastructure packages. The CPF-2 Instrument Engineer will play a key role in ensuring safe, high-quality, and compliant delivery of all Instrumentation & Control (I&C) engineering activities within a complex EPC environment, coordinating across multiple disciplines and interfacing projects. • Lead Instrument, Control & Telecom (IC&T) engineering activities for Network WellPads & Pipelines package • Review and approve IC&T engineering deliverables, designs, and technical documentation • Coordinate interfaces with Process, Electrical, Pipeline, Civil, Mechanical, and Construction teams • Participate in HAZOP, SIL/SIF workshops, technical bid evaluations, and FAT activities • Manage engineering changes, technical risks, and quality compliance throughout project execution • Support procurement and construction teams to ensure smooth project delivery ## Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation Engineering • Minimum 8 years’ experience in IC&T engineering within oil & gas projects • At least 5 years in a lead or supervisory engineering role on EPC projects • Strong knowledge of instrumentation, control systems, telecom, and safety systems • Experience with multidisciplinary coordination and contractor management • Fluent English communication skills; Arabic or Chinese is a plus ## Additional Information Place of mobilization: UAE – Dubai Status: Local Resident Starting Date: 1 August 2026 Duration: 1 year with possible extension Missions to Iraq (yes/no): Yes, 30 days / year max
