Play a key role in operational improvement within Amazon Web Services, where we have a history and tradition of innovative technologies and services. As part of the Global Network Delivery team, you will have the opportunity to join a team that partners across the global AWS Infrastructure organization to shape the future of the AWS profile and tempo to which we deliver. The Global Network Delivery Sourcing team is seeking a highly-skilled & driven Technical Infrastructure Program Manager (TIPM) who will help drive the team toward our mission of building durable and reliable data-informed processes within AWS Infrastructure. The ideal candidate has experience managing global Infrastructure projects/programs; developing, monitoring, and reporting project/program health metrics; depth of knowledge in supply chain; experience with external suppliers; and driving improvement. As a TIPM within this team focused on fiber cable sourcing, you will be responsible for organizing and managing continuous improvement and process initiatives and play a significant role in developing, driving and managing scalable, data-driven processes. Key job responsibilities The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of creating sourcing plans, managing supplier performance, and working with a broad range of cross-functional stakeholders. - Develop new concepts and operating models to deliver impactful changes in sourcing, delivering best in class business models - Create forecasts and sourcing plans in support of customer demand. - Work with a range of stakeholders including supply chain, operations, engineering, and suppliers to drive supply profiles and to support on-time material availability. - Manage the dependencies and the interfaces between projects and negotiate the trade-offs needed. - Provide program progress reporting on a regular basis. - End to end responsibility for the program’s execution and success. - Analyze business and technology trends to identify process im
