What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Knowledge of data center infrastructure design, operations, or delivery, Experience in project management including resource planning, managing schedules, reporting project status and prioritizing tasks, Bachelor Degree in Engineering/ IT or similar field with 8+ years in infrastructure planning or related field experience
Nice to Have
Experience in data analytics or automation, Experience using BI Tools (Tableau, OBIEE, Business Objects, Cognos, MicroStrategy), 8+ years data center networking experience working with optics, bulk fiber and a firm understanding of power and cooling
What You'll Do.
Contribute in developing network implementation roadmaps
Create and optimize network position layouts
Create rack placement strategies
Review High-Level Design (HLD) documentation
Coordinate with engineering teams to validate technical requirements
Coordinate with engineering teams to validate design specifications
Develop capacity planning models
Create standardized planning templates
Create standardized planning methodologies
Lead end-to-end project planning
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules
Develop and maintain project milestones
Develop and maintain project dependencies
Manage project quality parameters
Conduct risk assessments
Develop mitigation strategies
Improvise and optimize planning
Incorporate lessons learnt
Coordinate across cross-functional teams
Ensure alignment on project deliverables
