What You'll Do.
participating in all aspects of patient meal service
answering phones in the call center
assembling patient trays
cleaning and sanitizing dishes and equipment
delivering and picking up meal trays
Prepares and maintains serving lines
Prepares and assembles cold food items
Serves food as directed
Disassembles and cleans food stations
Sets up and operates the cash register station
Counts and balances the cash register
Performs routine and heavy-duty cleaning
and unloads the dishwasher
Checks and stores all clean equipment
Cleans major equipment
Transports refuse and/or other materials
Maintains sanitary conditions
Sets up and delivers food carts to patient and other food delivery areas
Retrieves carts and returns them to the dish room
Strips patient and cafeteria trays
Works assigned station on the tray line
Assembles patient trays with appropriate speed
accuracy and appearance
Delivers trays to patients verifying room numbers
birth dates and patient names
Routinely participates in selected quality monitoring activities
Assists with the care and maintenance of department facilities
and supplies reporting malfunctions to management
