Must Have
Associate’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition or related field, 1 year recent relevant experience

We are so glad you are interested in joining Sutter Health! **Organization:** ABSMC-Ashby Campus **Position Overview:** Follows clearly defined nutritional procedures to provide support to Clinical Dieticians, physicians and other health care providers with implementation and monitoring of medical nutrition therapy (MNT), including nutrition education, assessment and treatment. Collects patient data and information to understand patients' needs and create menus that support their plan of care. Exercises sound judgment, and developed clinical skills to guide individuals, families, or caregivers in food selection, preparation, or menu planning, based upon nutritional needs and established guidelines. Gains confidence and cooperation from the patient, their family/support group, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring and care, and effective communication. Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care. **Job Description** : **EDUCATION:** * _Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma._ * Associate's: Associate’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition or related field from an accredited program or equivalent education/experience **TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:** * 1 year recent relevant experience. **SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:** * Knowledge of various nutritional diets, principles, procedures, views, and equipment used in the treatment of patients with varying disorders. * Capable of performing routine nutritional therapy as well as a basic understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. * Possess written and verbal communications skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences, including non-medical people. * Well-developed time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize assignments and work within standar
