What You'll Do.
Provide for patients’ daily living activities
Maintain a safe and clean environment
Manage supplies and equipment
Assist with direct patient care tasks
Perform blood glucose monitoring
Perform specimen collection
Perform dressing changes
Perform colostomy care
Organize patient care assignments
Ensure timely delivery of care
Seek assistance for assignments
Document the care provided
Label specimens properly
Ask patient about pain
Report pain to RN/LPN
Maintain orderliness of unit
Maintain cleanliness of unit
Keep patient areas neat
Keep patient areas uncluttered
Prepare rooms for patient admissions
Clean patient equipment
Maintain patient equipment
Report equipment problems to RN
Report supply problems to RN

Make hourly patient rounds
