What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, RN-Registered Nurse for the state where care is provided, BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider, 12 years recent relevant experience
Nice to Have
ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support (not required at MPMC)
What You'll Do.
Provide administrative supervision and support
coordinate and facilitate nursing supervisor activities
Handle atypical situations
Consult regarding atypical or emergent situations
Manage nursing staff resources
identify future shortages
Determine need for agency personnel
Maintain accurate documentation on daily staffing
Communicate problems with staff availability
Communicate with oncoming personnel
Coordinate and participate in patient care activities
Make level decisions concerning patient care
Serve as a role model and patient advocate
Evaluate patient needs and unit resources

Serves as administrative liaison to all hospital departments, agencies, and physicians and provides functional guidance to all units. Serves as a resources for decision-making concerning patient care services, non-clinical services, staffing and ensures that hospital policies and procedures are properly interpreted and applied. **Job Description** : _These Principal Accountabilities, Requirements and Qualifications are not exhaustive, but are merely the most descriptive of the current job.
