Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina, two years of RN nursing experience

Knowledge of management and supervisory methods, practices, and procedures, Ability to plan, organize, and supervise the work of healthcare staff, Ability to anticipate, recognize and respond appropriately to potential problematic situations, Ability to coach and counsel employees

What You'll Do.

Serve as Shift Manager

Represent Nursing Leadership on shifts

Serve as resource and contact point

Communicate with patients

Make rounds frequently on all units

Respond to medical and behavioral emergencies

Support nursing teammates

Ensure compliance with hospital policy

Communicate and promote harmony among personnel

Notify appropriate off-duty administrators

Participate in performance and conduct investigations

Monitor regulatory and accreditation compliance

Ensure nursing care meets regulations

Actively communicates and promotes harmony among shift personnel, administration, and other departments/disciplines.

Communication Scope

Communicates with patients, families, providers, law enforcement and other agencies as needed regarding patient care, treatment, and services.
