Must Have
Unrestricted Registered Nursing license, Master’s level certification in Psychiatric Mental Health (PMHNP), Licensed in State of employment, National Certifications, Experience in crisis mental health, Experience in family health treatment, Unrestricted DEA license, Arizona Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
Nice to Have
Dual certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner, Doctorate of Nursing Practice, DEA X license, Experience in addiction treatment, Experience in recovery
What You'll Do.
Direct medical/clinical services
Provide psychiatric evaluation
Provide differential diagnosis
Provide treatment planning
Provide medication management
Provide family meetings
Provide supportive psychotherapy
Provide individual education
Provide risk assessment
Provide discharge planning
Serve as attending clinician
Complete initial psychiatric assessments
Complete crisis interventions
Complete family interventions
Complete diagnostic assessments
Complete assessments of capacity
Complete progress toward treatment goals
Document individual’s progress
Oversee delivery of medication education
Order laboratory tests
Review health assessment
Obtain past medical history
Obtain current medical history
Conduct focused physical examination
Initiate contact with Primary Care Physicians
Initiate contact with Emergency Room clinicians
Assess individual's needs
Manage treatment plan updates
Initiate contact with Outpatient Providers
Review crisis clinical team documents
Provide information to clinical team
Utilize appropriate medication
Collaborate with other personnel
Work with outside psychiatric providers
Review involuntary petitions
Assess involuntary patients
Coordinate with legal system
Participate in medical staff meetings
Perform other duties as assigned
