Must Have
Completion of accredited PA program, Licensed or eligible PA, Completion of accredited NP program, Licensed or eligible APRN, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Nice to Have
AGACNP or ACNP, FNP with ENP Certification, AGPNP/ANP with ENP Certification, 1 year PA/APRN ED experience, Emergency Medicine Fellowship/Residency
What You'll Do.
preventive healthcare
Provide direct patient care
Take comprehensive history
Perform physical examinations
Evaluate and treat patients
Administer local anesthesia
Perform laceration repair
Remove foreign bodies
Perform abscess incision and drainage
Perform urethral catheterization
Place peripheral venous access
Perform endotracheal intubation
Perform arterial puncture
Perform lumbar puncture
Perform arthrocentesis
Initiate referrals to healthcare providers
Consult with attending physician
Document and bill for direct care
Utilize evidence-based decision-making
Perform quality improvement activities
Participate in clinical research
Support accreditation activities
Support compliance activities
Support regulatory activities
Maintain licenses and certifications
