**Position: Nurse Manager** **Department: MedSurg 4A** **Schedule: Full Time, 40 Hours** **POSITION SUMMARY:** The Nurse Manager is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and coordination of nursing operations within the assigned clinical area to ensure the safe, effective, and compliant delivery of patient care. The role integrates clinical practice oversight with operational management, ensuring that nursing care is planned, delivered, and evaluated in accordance with established standards of care, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies. The Nurse Manager oversees clinical activities, workflows, and staffing to support consistent implementation of the nursing process and to promote quality, safety, and patient-centered outcomes. This position functions with general supervision and exercises independent judgment in managing unit-level operations, supervising staff, and addressing clinical and operational issues within established guidelines. The role supports departmental and organizational goals by ensuring nursing services are aligned with hospital priorities, performance expectations, and patient care standards.**** **ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:** 1\.
