What You'll Achieve.
Ensures the hospital mission, the philosophy of the Department of Nursing, and service line objectives of the clinical area are achieved through annual goals and objectives that are measurable and accomplished within the specified period of time.; Identifies compliance issues and collaborates with site-based Administrator and WFBH compliance office to develop and implement action plans as needed.; Accountable for the quality and appropriateness of health care delivery and for the environment in which clinical patient care is practiced.; Ensures indicators that are measurable and outcome based.; Ensures staff are involved in the QI process.

What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices, Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
Nice to Have
Nurse Manager experience highly preferred, Rehab experience is highly preferred, Minimum five years nursing experience preferred
What You'll Do.
Ensures the hospital mission
the philosophy of the Department of Nursing
and service line objectives of the clinical area are achieved through annual goals and objectives that are measurable and accomplished within the specified period of time.
Responsible for compliance with all internal and external professional and regulatory agency standards including CMS
and WFBH Department of Nursing policies and standards
and applicable state Board of Nursing standards of practice.
Provides leadership to staff to ensure goals are met through established standards of performance
support of the Mission
and evidence-based practice.
Supervises and coordinates personnel activities. This includes
but not limited to staff selection
performance management
merit recommendations
staff time off schedules
and continued professional development.
Ensures patient population competencies.
Engages in self-development of clinical
and professional goals.
Customer service: Ensures care is delivered in accordance with the Patient and Family promise.
Participates with business administrator in planning
and monitoring budgetary process for assigned areas.
Develops and implements QI programs that result in improvement in the quality of patient care.
Performs and maintains competency for point of care testing as assigned
ensuring compliance with WFBH Point of Care policies and with applicable state and federal regulations.

Team & Collaboration
Develops and maintains coordination/cooperation with other clinics and/or between service lines, patients, and all healthcare professionals to provide consistent, excellent patient care.; Collaborates with Patient and Family Relations to promote service recovery and empowers staff in conflict resolution.; Our multidisciplinary team—comprising nurses, therapists, and physicians—works collaboratively to deliver personalized treatment plans that promote healing, restore function, and empower patients to achieve their goals.
