The Nuclear Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for leading and maintaining PGE’s Trojan Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation (ISFSI) Quality Assurance Program (QAP), ensuring compliance with Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) regulations, licensing commitments, contractual obligations, and applicable industry standards. This highly specialized role provides independent oversight of quality assurance activities supporting the safe storage of spent nuclear fuel and serves as the organization's subject matter expert on nuclear quality requirements. The position is responsible for evaluating program effectiveness, conducting audits and assessments, overseeing corrective action processes, and ensuring quality controls are consistently applied across safety-related activities. As a key regulatory and compliance leader, the Nuclear Quality Assurance Manager provides independent authority and oversight separate from operational, budget, and scheduling pressures. Reporting directly to the Trojan ISFSI Senior Manager with independent access to PGE’s Chief Operating Officer, this role ensures the integrity of the Quality Assurance Program while supporting continued compliance with federal licensing commitments.
