Must Have
High School Diploma/GED, BLS certification, IV Certification, ARRT, CNMT, Ability to perform nuclear medicine procedures, Ability to prepare and inject radioactive isotopes, Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, interpersonal and organizational skills, Ability to perform diverse work assignments with time limitations with a high degree of accuracy, Ability to use problem solving, critical thinking and priority setting skills
Nice to Have
Associates or Bachelor’s degree, 2-4 years’ experience, Experience with Imaging Equipment, Dose Calibrator, Geiger counter – cutie pie CGM meter, Well & Probe Uptake System, Lead Syringe Shields & Lab Coats, Standard Office Equipment (Phone, Fax, Copy Machine, Scanner, Email/Voice Mail), Standard Office Technology in a Window based environment
What You'll Do.
Prepare and inject radiopharmaceuticals
Measure concentrations of radioactive isotope
Perform cardiac nuclear studies
Assist physician with procedures
Give reports to physician
Program computer for each procedure
Document reason for test and allergies
Employ proper aseptic techniques
Manage nuclear schedule
Perform daily/weekly quality assurance
Troubleshoot minor problems
Report problems to Supervisor
Accurately gate the study
Perform departmental surveys
Follow proper procedures for spill
Report contamination to authorities
Order and log radioactive materials
Dispose of radioisotopes
Update nuclear Policies and Procedures
Adhere to nuclear/ProSolv workflow
Prepare preliminary report
