What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Satisfactory completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program., 1 year Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience., Proficient in Microsoft Office Software.
Nice to Have
Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) certification., Historical education eligibility pathway for NMTCB, including former ‘On the Job’ (OTJ) option., Maintained active NMTCB certification prior to its retirement in 2015.
What You'll Do.
plan and direct patient activities.
Perform radionuclide imaging procedures.
Handle radioactive isotopes safely.
Calculate test results.
Review examinations for quality.
Confirm patient identification.
Review patient information and orders.
Recognize and administer aid in emergencies.
Practice sterile technique.
Record patient information and complete paperwork.
Perform billing functions.
Prepare reports and isotopes documentation.
Maintain neat and stocked work areas.
Assist with ordering supplies.
Perform other related duties.
Participate in after hours standby and call back.
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Integral part of the Imaging Services Team.; Work with radiologist.; Assist with ordering and stocking of department supplies and equipment.
