Should be able to read technical documentation (including 3D specifications)
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
BAS or equivalent work experience, Experience in similar position, Advanced English, Solid experience in NPI, part number changes, deviations, implementations, and qualifications, Strong experience with suppliers
Nice to Have
A background in electronics manufacturing is desired, Experience using Baan is a plus
What You'll Do.
Ensure availability of parts for new products
Scout and select suppliers
Achieve continuous improvement in quality
Help value engineering exercises
Manage supplier relations
Arrange correct documentation for new product release
Send out initial orders and RFQs
Maintain purchase price in system
Work off price differences
Adjust purchase price in system
Keep traceability upon price
Evaluate supplier quotations
Make agreements on pricing
Organise and monitor initial samples
Monitor and help start-up phase
Help and follow up production
Negotiate with competent manager for quality problems
Initiate required design modifications
Monitor supply market
Keep connection with Suppliers
Continuously improve quality
Look for cost reduction possibilities
Coordinate and implement ECO changes
Coordinate transfers of new products
Coordinate end-of-life process
Coordinate verification of new MPN/Supplier
Review and analyze new offers
Maintain T&C for new items
Solve discrepancies with Customer
Request deviations to Customer
Purchase material status for prototypes/pilots
Manage changes in deliveries status
Negotiate minimized impact for Flex excess
Solve material discrepancies for prototypes/pilots
Monitor system accuracy
Validate data integrity
Validate system set up
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Be a permanent member of the Project team; Assure hold up for the Procurerment if needed; In charge of efficient communication flow about progress of every NPI/TPI/EOL/ECO related project within SC, CFT and with Customer
