This is more than just a design review position; it's a strategic role that drives quality and productivity improvements from the very beginning of the product lifecycle. The successful candidate will be the bridge between design, manufacturing, and supply chain, ensuring that products are not only functional but also easy to build, with the highest quality and at the lowest possible cost. ## Job Description * **Lead DFM Initiatives**: Spearhead efforts to embed **DFM principles** into the new product introduction process, focusing on **Design for Manufacturing ( DFM)** * **Supplier Development** : Collaborate with and develop EMS to establish and maintain best-in-class manufacturing processes. This includes auditing their capabilities and guiding them to meet MSI's quality and productivity standards. * **Process Innovation** : Continuously seek out and implement new manufacturing processes and technological breakthroughs to improve product quality, increase productivity, and reduce costs. * **Cost & Productivity Management**: This role is pivotal in achieving the company's goals for productivity, timely delivery, and cost-efficiency. The engineer will be directly responsible for identifying and implementing cost-saving measures without compromising on quality or performance. *
