What You'll Do.
Represent strategic sourcing deliverables for new product development
Manage all aspects of NPD Sourcing
Deliver direct material for new products
Manage supplier selection
Involve suppliers early
prototype and production parts
Manage launch volumes and timelines
Transition program to sustaining production management
Guide supplier development projects globally
Support development of organizational processes
Manage performance for assigned NPD programs
Facilitate completing supply chain product development stage gate
Keep project team updated with supply chain statuses
Ensure NPD milestones and requirements are understood
Monitor and complete NPD milestones
Ensure design compatibility with supplier capabilities
Conduct design reviews
Perform supplier assessment
Develop win-win resolutions
Develop positive relations
Lead cross-functional teams
Support cross-functional teams
Develop solutions to business problems
Develop solutions to technical problems
Engage with strategic suppliers in Early Supplier Involvement
Coordinate cross functional team activities
Support project team in executing supplier assessments
Support project team in part qualification & approval
Support project team in defining supply chain capital
Support project / material control team in defining
