Must Have
Master's Degree Nursing or Physician Assistant, Registered Nurse [RN - MA License], Advanced Practice Registered Nurse [APRN] [MA License], Physician Assistant [MA License]
Nice to Have
Advanced knowledge of reading ECG, Advanced knowledge of Radiology, Advanced knowledge of Laboratory data, Basic understanding of Cardiac Surgery patient population, Experience as a Nurse Practitioner, Experience as a Physician Assistant in Cardiac Surgery
What You'll Do.
Participate in daily rounds
Perform bedside diagnostic procedures
Perform bedside therapeutic procedures
Participate in development of care plans
Participate in implementation of care plans
Coordinate consultations
Implement treatment plans
Communicate with referring physicians
Perform patient education
Prepare patients for discharge
Assists surgeons in the operating room
Perform technical clinical procedures
Perform complete histories
Perform physical examinations
Order laboratory tests
Interpret laboratory tests
Evaluate laboratory tests
Order diagnostic tests
Interpret diagnostic tests
Evaluate diagnostic tests
Develop appropriate plans of care
Follow-up based on outcomes
Provide high quality documentation
Provide timely documentation
Perform bedside procedures
