Eligibility Requirements

Manage staff activities within established policies, Manage exempt individual contributors and/or supervisors, Accountability for results of a major program in terms of cost, direction and people management, Guidance on process improvements and recommends changes in alignment with business tactics and strategy for area of responsibility, Plans, manages and monitors operational/tactical activities of Staff, Staff members' work may involve strategic issues, Recruits and supports development of direct staff members, Typically reports to MG2 or Director, Manages and controls activities within a single country or a sub-region which is part of a larger geographical, Manages at least 4 employees and typically between 8 and 15 direct reports, Of Control guidelines may differ from these numbers, Provides direct and ongoing leadership for a team of individual contributors designing and developing engineering solutions and coordinating projects utilizing multiple engineering disciplines for products, systems, software, and solutions, Manages headcount, deliverables, schedules, and costs for multiple ongoing projects, Ensures that resources are appropriately allocated and that goals, objectives, timelines, and budgets are met in accordance with program and organizational roadmaps, Communicates project status and escalates issues to direct managers, program managers, and internal and external development partners, Manages relationships with outsourced partners and suppliers, Setting expectations regarding deliverables, product quality, schedules, Ensures that team members are effectively communicating and collaborating with outsourced resources, Proactively identifies opportunities for process improvement and cost reductions opportunities, Provides people-care management for assigned team members, Hiring, Setting and monitoring of annual performance plans, Coaching, Career development, Ensures that proper knowledge and career development tools are in place to support ongoing team member and process development, Ability to manage human capital across geographies to drive workforce development and achieve desired results

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

First level university degree or equivalent experience required, Typically 5 or more years of related work experience, 1 - 2 years of people management experience

Nice to Have

May have advanced university degree

What You'll Do.

Manage staff activities in solving common and complex business/technical issues

Manage exempt individual contributors and/or supervisors

Accountability for results of a major program

Provide guidance on process improvements

Recommend changes in alignment with business tactics and strategy

manage and monitor operational/tactical activities of Staff

Recruit and support development of direct staff members

Ensure resources are appropriately allocated

Manage relationships with outsourced partners and suppliers

Set expectations regarding deliverables

Ensure team members are effectively communicating and collaborating

Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement

Proactively identify cost reductions opportunities

Provide people-care management for assigned team members

Set and monitor annual performance plans

Support career development of team members

Ensure proper knowledge and career development tools are in place
