4 years’ experience in a directorship, senior management or equivalent governance, relevant academic and/or professional qualifications in finance, law, accounting, compliance, risk management, corporate governance, business administration or a related, knowledge or experience in regulated financial services, securities dealing, brokerage, investment services or capital, understanding of directors’ duties, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, AML/CFT obligations and risk, ability to read, understand and challenge Board papers, compliance reports, audit reports, risk assessments and financial, sufficient independence, availability and commitment to perform the role effectively, probity, honesty, competence, financial, sound judgement and independence of, absence of regulatory sanctions, disqualification, serious misconduct, dishonesty, fraud, financial crime or other matters that may affect suitability
