Must Have

2+ years in NOC/IT Operations/Systems Support (or equivalent), troubleshooting in Windows Server and Linux/Ubuntu administration, Working knowledge of AWS fundamentals and common operational troubleshooting, Hands-on experience with Hyper-V administration and VM troubleshooting, Experience with PRTG (sensor setup/tuning, alert noise reduction, dashboarding), Experience with Jira Service Management (incident/request handling, documentation, escalation), Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS, routing basics, VPN concepts, communication and ticket documentation skills

Nice to Have

Scripting/automation: PowerShell, Bash, Python, ITIL awareness (Incident/Problem/Change), Exposure to ELK/Splunk, Ansible, Certifications: AWS Cloud Practitioner/SAA, Microsoft, Linux (LPIC/RHCSA), ITIL Foundation

What You'll Do.

and resolve infrastructure and application alerts

ensure high availability

perform incident response

drive continuous improvement of monitoring and operational processes

Monitor and respond to alerts/events using PRTG and other monitoring/logging

maintain SLA compliance and uptime targets

Perform L1/L2 incident triage and troubleshooting

Investigate connectivity and performance issues

Operate and troubleshoot virtualization workloads in Hyper-V

Support cloud operations in AWS

Assist with backup/restore and availability

coordinate escalations with cloud/platform teams

Use Jira Service Management for incident

and problem workflows

document troubleshooting

manage escalations and handoffs

Execute SOPs/runbooks

contribute updates and knowledge base articles

Perform routine operations tasks (patch coordination

Participate in shift operations (24x7 rotation if applicable)

provide timely stakeholder updates
