Cleveland Clinic’s J5-3 Cardiovascular Telemetry Unit sees some of the most complex cardiac cases in the world. J5-3, along with J5-2 and J6-2, is dedicated to caring for patients receiving coronary artery bypass surgery, valve repair or replacement, and minimally invasive or off-pump coronary bypass surgery. In addition to the post-operative open heart patient population, this unit also cares for all cardiac related admissions, including Ventricular Assist Devices (LVAD/RVAD), and Total Artificial Hearts (TAH). J5-1 also takes patients that are actively weaning from ventilator support.
