Vanderbilt’s mission is to advance health and wellness through preeminent programs in patient care, education, and research. **Organization:** Neurodiagnostic Technician Program ** _Job Summary:_** The Neurodiagnostic Technician Trainee Program is an innovative on-the-job training program and will be 12 months in length. You will learn to perform many tests that diagnose problems with the brain and nervous system, as well as sleep disorders. As a trainee, you will use state-of-the-art digital equipment to record electrical patterns throughout the brain and nervous system, which result in valuable data needed to diagnose and treat conditions like epilepsy, seizure disorders, strokes, degenerative brain disease, and more. You will learn to perform procedures on all ages, assist in identifying patient and family learning needs and provide pertinent information to the patient and/or family in a manner that can be easily understood by them. .
