What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience), 10+ years of experience in at least two of the following: IP routing, internetworking, LAN switching, Linux systems, infrastructure automation (e. g. , Ansible, Salt), OpenStack, VMware ESXi, VXLAN overlays, or data center network design, 5+ years of hands-on experience in modern data center networking, with deep expertise in BGP EVPN over VXLAN architectures, Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting for automation, network validation, and workflow optimization, In-depth experience with network management and monitoring tools (SNMP, syslog, Telegraf, and similar observability stacks), grounding in network design principles, protocols, troubleshooting, and best practices—including in production environments with BGP and OSPF, Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical collaborators, A customer-first attitude, self-motivation, and a proactive approach to leadership in cross-functional environments

Nice to Have

Experience with open networking platforms, especially Mellanox switches and Cumulus Linux!, Familiarity with CI/CD workflows in a network engineering context, including tools such as Git, GitLab, and Jenkins, Active engagement in networking-related open-source projects or technical communities!, Background in Professional Services, customer-facing deployment, and solutions optimization, Industry certifications such as CCIE, RHCE, or other advanced Linux/networking credentials

What You'll Do.

Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to review

and align networking design decisions—spanning hardware

and logical architecture—for products such as NVLINK

and other NVIDIA networking platforms.

Evaluate networking changes and communicate impact on field organization to maintain robust

scalable workflows aligned with product evolution.

Define and relay detailed networking requirements to engineering and product management

enabling successful New Product Introduction (NPI) for GPU-based compute platforms.

Detail architectural and design changes

crafting clear and actionable deliverables for the field organization

including standardized workflows

and configuration examples.

Validate advanced network designs—including Ethernet

and NVSwitch RDMA fabrics—for performance and scalability

ensuring they meet real-world customer scenarios and deployment requirements.

Support NPI team by bridging gaps

and aligning collaborators in product development.

Support NVIDIA's mission by ensuring breakthrough technologies for global customers and OEM partners.
