The role is part of the Office Infrastructure Deployment (OID) team that is a follow-the-sun global team of network infrastructure deployment engineers that works on the turn-up of new Amazon corporate offices, post-occupancy projects like office expansions or decommissions, life cycle replacement projects (hardware & software refreshes) and strategic security networking initiatives that will impact and touch every Amazon employee working in a corporate office environment. All of OID’s work is executed remotely and you will collaborate with other teams within Amazon like AWS Networking, IT Services, Technical Program Managers and Low Voltage Contractors (LVC’s). The role will require you to work from our corporate office in Cebu, Philippines. We value our engineers and their growth. Key job responsibilities Create and implement configuration changes on the network, during scheduled change management windows. Troubleshoot networking, routing and inter connectivity issues, including troubleshooting of network device configurations. Collaborate with our partners within Amazon like AWS Networking, IT Services, Technical Program Managers and Low Voltage Contractors (LVC’s) to deploy changes. Create and review documentation and process regarding network implementation/deployments, recurring issues, new standard operating procedures, knowledge transfer material, etc. Basic Qualifications: - BS/BE/BTech in Information Systems, Computer Science or other
