5+ years of L2/L3 networking design and implementation experience, Data Center, Campus, and WIFI solutions experience, presentation and selling skills, communication of complex technical material, Solid understanding and knowledge of how to build successful relationships between an equipment manufacturer and a customer base of executives, architects, engineers and operations teams, Good interpersonal skills, customer relations skills, problem management skills, ability to stay calm and professional under pressure, working to strict deadlines, Experience creating technical material (slides, white papers, battle cards, solution guides, etc), recent experience in leaf-spine architecture design, Expert knowledge in Ethernet, Expert knowledge in RSTP/ MSTP, Expert knowledge in VLANs, Expert knowledge in IP Routing, Expert knowledge in TCP/IP, Expert knowledge in OSPF, Expert knowledge in BGP, Expert knowledge in eBGP, Expert knowledge in VxLAN, Expert knowledge in EVPN, Expert knowledge in Multicast, Expert knowledge in Spanning Tree, Expert knowledge in QoS, Expert level knowledge of industry-standard CLI
Nice to Have
MBA/MS degree, Network Industry Certification (e.g. CCIE (R&S), JNCIE, ACE-5, 6, 7), Demonstrated work experience as either a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Pre-Sales SE or Network Consulting Engineer, Previous experience building network automation using Python and Ansible, writing skills and ability to create informative white papers on technology and products
What You'll Do.
Partner with Account teams for pre-sales technical support
Act as a trusted advisor for customers
Gather requirements and identify opportunities
Conduct whiteboard network architectural reviews
Present Arista product solutions
Own the pre-sales and post-sales technical relationship
Build and maintain knowledge of Arista technologies
Support and enable channel partner engineers
Execute technical Quarterly Business Reviews
Support onsite customer requirements
Facilitate technical training on Arista products
design and propose Arista network solutions
Perform hands-on testing for proof-of-concept
Put together design guidelines
Recommend network improvements
Partner with Sales Team to respond to RFP/RFQs
Author feature requests
Provide feedback to Product Management
Represent Arista at industry events
Present technical content virtually and in-person
Create technical marketing materials
Author white papers on technology
Author white papers on products
