What They're Looking For.
Must Have
bachelor's degree in business, engineering or an equivalent field, Understanding of airline operations and operational constraints, Solid understanding of airport slot processes, regulations and seasonal scheduling cycles, Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in airline scheduling, analytical capabilities and ability to balance commercial optimization with operational feasibility, Fluency in English, both written and spoken, Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, High attention to detail and commitment to schedule quality and executability

We are looking for an experienced scheduling professional who can translate network and commercial objectives into robust, executable and profitable seasonal schedules and base programs. In this role, you will take end‑to‑end accountability for Finnair’s IATA summer and winter programs, ensuring high schedule quality, strong connectivity and operational feasibility while supporting network profitability. This role is primarily an office-based role in Vantaa, Finland. **Main responsibilities:** You will be responsible for the development, optimization and publication of Finnair’s seasonal schedules, ensuring alignment with network strategy and operational requirements. * Lead the development, scheduling and optimization of Finnair’s base programs for IATA summer and winter seasons. * Design schedules that align flight permits, base maintenance requirements, strategic slots and operational constraints. * Safeguard schedule quality by monitoring block times, minimum ground times and connection viability. * Ensure schedules are operationally feasible through close cooperation with Technical Operations, Ground Operations and Crew Planning. * Incorporate seasonality, route performance and market demand into robust, executable schedules. * Ensure efficient utilization of aircraft and crew while maintaining ground operations feasibility. *
