AWS Infrastructure Services (AIS) designs, plans, delivers, and operates all AWS global infrastructure. We keep the cloud running by supporting AWS data centers and the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that give customers continual access to innovation. We solve complex problems with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain. You'll join software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other essential roles. You'll collaborate across AWS to deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing capacity at the lowest cost for customers. In this role, you will: Work with our data center design engineering teams, network new product team, and construction teams to integrate quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle. You'll participate in design reviews, page turns, and Building Information Modeling reviews for Basis of Design documents and construction drawing sets, providing Quality Assurance representation to ensure standards are met from concept through construction. You'll influence design teams, construction partners, and other stakeholders to adopt quality assurance checklists that validate conformance to Amazon, Industry, and jurisdictional standards during critical milestone checks for design, construction, and cabling activities. You'll bring the voice of the customer forward by gathering feedback from internal stakeholders and refining quality processes based on their needs. You'll verify that designs and construction meet standards by reviewing documentation and data from milestone inspections. You'll document and align design standards and standard operating procedures as new technology integrates into our infrastructure. You’ll also conduct training with partner teams to ensure consistent execution across all projects.
