Full Job Description

## What Your Day-To-Day Looks Like (Position Responsibilities) Support the implementation, operation, and optimization of enterprise network infrastructure across core, distribution, access, and edge environments. Help implement and maintain network security controls aligned to federal security standards and Zero Trust architecture principles. Configure, manage, and troubleshoot routing, switching, virtual local area networks (VLANs), Domain Name System (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), virtual private networks (VPNs), and other network services. Monitor network performance and availability, respond to alerts, and integrate network platforms with enterprise monitoring, logging, and security tools. Support network device patching, firmware updates, vulnerability remediation, and compliance activities. Implement and maintain centralized logging and audit capabilities for network devices. Support incident response with network-level analysis, containment actions, and forensic data collection. Develop and maintain network standard operating procedures (SOPs), hardware and configuration baselines, and current network diagrams. ## What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Requirements) Five years of experience in network engineering or network security operations. Experience supporting network security controls aligned to federal cybersecurity frameworks. Experience with network segmentation, least-privilege access controls, and 802.1X network access control. Experience with monitoring, vulnerability assessment, patching, and device hardening. Experience with network documentation, change control, and operational readiness. Ability to meet federal screening and suitability requirements prior to start.
