What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3+ years of experience in network engineering or a related field, Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies, Hands-on experience with network equipment from vendors such as Palo Alton, Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, Arista, etc., Good Experience in Managing a fleet of firewalls through Panorama including the below features Centrally manage policies, Upgrade and patch management from Panorama, Monitor and troubleshoot from Panorama, Good knowledge of LSVPN including running OSPF over LSVPN, Setting up B2B VPN tunnels with third parties, Good knowledge of IP Address management (IPAM), Active Directory and DNS
Nice to Have
Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools, Familiarity with interfacing with terminal server, and RTU, Familiarity with Panorama, TACACS, Splunk, TripWire, etc., Good knowledge of LSVPN including running OSPF over LSVPN, Setting up B2B VPN tunnels with third parties
What You'll Do.
Maintain the integrity of Vistra's OT network for GCS
and maintain network infrastructures
Configure and optimize network performance
Conduct network assessments and audits
Troubleshoot network issues and perform root cause analysis
Provide technical support to clients and internal teams
Support setting up IPSec tunnels necessary to integrate new resources
Upkeeping of systems security per regulatory compliance obligations
